Need agressive acceleration how to config?
FOC ADC configuration.
Thanks
I'm using the 4.12 FSESC controller in a tracked vehicle, and need to disable the brake. Can't find any settings to disable the current-hold when its in neutral. How do you disable regen brake, or braking of any kind? My application needs to be able to coast when its in neutral.
I have been up and down looking for what I'm doing wrong or what isn't configured correctly. I am using a 5kohm potentionmeter to supply a ppm input through an arduino to the VESC. the vesc tool that I got from this website is 3.00. There are two micro usb ports on the vesc, and I have figured out which one is the master. I have succesfully gotten one to fully respond to the input from the potentiometer. However, this is where everything goes wrong. This version of vesc tool doesn't have the input setup wizard that allows for a master/slave vesc configuration.
Hi,
I am doing a research project where I am studying whether an electric propeller on a sailboat can be used to generate energy and when it is needed; generate propulsion too.
So, at first, I would like to benchmark regenerative braking to see if this is something to go further with. And I think Vesc Tool might be a good tool for this project.
I have 2 high discharge lipo batteries which combined gives 48 V, VESC 75/300, an Flipsky61461 waterproof motor and a small Flipsky 5062 to play with.
Hello,
I have some questions about the use of VESCTOOL in terms of optimizing the configurations so it can easier to access in all cases.
Hi,
I am writing a custom VESC app that uses the uart and an analog input to read the output of a sensor. I would like to read the measured sensor data via the bluetooth connection (NRF51822). Is it possible to define a custom parameter to be monitored with the RT-monitor in VESC Tool?
Kind regards,
Hi
I'm working on a small electric snowmobile that is controlled by a Vesc wand (and a Vesc 6)
The problem is that the moment of inertia is very large at the start moment and the moment of inertia reduces the force as soon as the snowmobile belt starts to rotate..
This makes it very difficult to drive /start
How should I make settings for / in Vesc wand / Vesc tool to get a smooth start?
grateful for learning
MVH

I haven't connected my VESC to a computer for a long while and needed to change some settings recently, but I downloaded the new VESC-Tool program and I am unsure of what hardware version I have. The link for my VESC is dead and I cant find any info on the PCB. Does anyone know what version I should use to update the firmware?
Thanks
Hello everyone
This is my first post ;)
I have FSESC4.20 connected to a hoverboard motor and a flysky RC car receiver.
I have the hall sensors connected I don’t know if the order will be okay...
However in the forward direction and the brake apparently works well
I can't in any way change the direction of rotation when I press to reverse the transmitter on throtlle.
What am I doing wrong? it will be a connection problem?
I would appreciate your help
