Hi guys
Please tell me how to increase the current of holding the motor in a free state in order to prevent spontaneous rolling of devices
.Hey friends
I have a flipsky dual FSESC4
I connected it to vesc and was able to power my hub motors
.But then VESC told me to update the driver's firmware
after I updated the firmware the engines stopped working no matter what I try, it makes noises that it like its turning but does not move
When I connect the motors and try to calibrate them they move but when I try to choose directions of movement it no longer moves
Get the following error every time I try and download the tool.
"You have attempted to download an incorrect file URL too many times."
Tried a different internet connection, same error.
Hi,
I'm having an issue with downloading the VESC tool. Every time I attempt to download the tool I get this error: "You have attempted to download an incorrect file URL too many times. Please contact the site administrator if this message has been received in error.".
I've been able to replicate with two different accounts and browsers. Had anyone had this issue before?
Thanks
I tried to run both v3.0 and v3.01 on an HP Mini (Windows 7, Starter).
v3.0 produced a "not compatible" message. v3.10 attempted to load (based on Task Manager's CPU activity) but nothing happened at all.
Thinking the HP Mini may not have enough screen resolution (it's only 1024 x 600).
A search here of "Windows minimum requirement" produced no useful result.
Thanks.
I am setting up in Motor Wizard FOC,
I did run detection in the "advanced" window and the vesc tool read the motor value itself.
I want to know how the information is uploaded to the vesc tool when I did run detection.
Hi! I have a vesc firmware on my Android phone I would like to update to, but even the newest and updated version of Vesc Tool Mobile (19.1.2022) doesn't show me the bin file. The file shows up in system file manager but app doesn't show it at all (.bin)
Are there planned updates to solve the issue? Thanks!

I'm new to motor control. I could not find a write-up as to what all the motor setup parameters do. Although there may be one, it's probably better for my understanding to create it myself. To that end, I read the default .xml file with a web browser (Firefox) and pasted it into a spreadsheet (Open Office). Sorting brought some discrepancies to light. It's certainly possible I'm missing something, or that it needs to be the way it is. Still, I wanted to bring it to the attention of the group. I found four categories of discrepancies:
For a while VESC Tool communicated with my FSESC 7550 perfectly. But at some point after two days of poking around, I started seeing serial errors. Debug console excerpt follows.
Hello, I controlled a Brushless DC motor using FOC on vesc-tool 3.00. Firmware: 5.2, HD:60.
After i got the behavior i desired, I wrote the motor configuration, and saved the configuration file. From the vesc. When I run the motor when not attached to the VESC tool in a different session, I get different motor behavior.
When i connect it to the vesc tool to confirm. It gives different behavior even when i reload the saved motor configuration file. Why does this happen?
Do I need to check and re control the motor each time i need to run it?
