I have a Tmotor 4012 with a vesc 4, wich I use like a gimbal to control a microphone as silently as possible. I get very good results when I control it via the terminal in vesc tools. I use mainly 2 commands:
foc_openloop_duty 0.2 100 for a slow speed
and foc_openloop_duty 0.27 900 for a higher speed.
I have two questions:
Is it possible to send those commands vie UART ?
Is there a way to reverse the direction ?
