VESC Tool

Hello, everyone. I build a small e-bike for my daughter. It is built around geared hub motor with a clutch(no motor braking is possible when moving forward) and flipsky 4.20 controller. I'm using FOC and current control, throttle is ADC (hall sensor type).

Everything works just amazing, except for one minor thing. I was trying to find out how to fix this for ages and finally decided to ask here.

I noticed that vesc  firmware seemingly has a Pedal assist (PAS) + ADC app for ebikes.  I just built an ebike with a vesc based controller, and I was wondering if anyone knows if its been fully implemented and how it would interface with hardware? Thanks

I am currently struggling in tuning pid with vesc tools.

The tuning process has been tiring not just because of clicking between the pid page and real time graph, trying with different duty cycle and rpm but also huge workload when facing a lot of motors to tune. Therefore, I would like to find solutions in automating this process.

Is it possible that vesc tool can provide this function?

Or, is there a way for me to implement it myself?

I am using vesc under adc mode. But its taking more time to start running motor. How can I reduce the responce time in vesc?

I have a (probably stupid) question. Where can I download the latest VESC Tool versions, for example 5.03? If I do it normally over the website and the confirmation mail, I only get

vesc_tool_free_windows.zip  => version 3.01

vesc_tool_BETA_ALL.zip      => version 4.00 (Test 6)

Can anyone help?

Apologies first of all, especially if there is a thread out there for this. But, I've been searching all over the forum for a few hours over several days and not able to find help thus far.

I paid my Gold subscription and downloaded the files sent to me by email. My old windows laptop doesn't seem to have the right graphics card. So, I was delighted to see a download for Mac and did not delay in doing so.

I have not see such battery in additional Info / Setup

How to configure my battery in Vesc Tool ?

Hello. First time using a VESC and I have probably a simple question. When connecting 2 single VESC's via canbus is there a way to run each VESC off of a separate PWM input or are they always linked? I need to control them independently but I only have one Bluetooth module so I was hoping canbus would allow me to configure both but still keep them separate. From what I can tell it looks like they always share one input so I should just disconnect the canbus and get a separate bluetooth module for the second one.
