I purchased the flipsky 75_100V201 model (white circuit board) *tested with 5.2 and 5.3 fw
and a magnetic encoder (TLE5012BE100) configured factory with 4096 pulses (16384cpr) *tested in stm32f704 with controller firmware and works perfectly
So I'm trying to setup my new Flipsky 75100 to run my Heinzmann PMS080. I tried it on BLDC and it spun up to about 5000 rpm. Then I ran the FOC wizard and now it'll spin, but it requires a nudge to get going and won't go above 1600 rpm.
I would like the extra efficiency of FOC but there's a lot of settings in here...not sure what to do next.
Suggestions?
Hello, I just bought a Go-FOC DV6 Pro. The product page says I need to upload a custom firmware. I've downloaded the firmware .bin file but don't know what to do from there. I emailed the company for some direction and they replied with this...
"Hello, first upgrade the bootloader through VeSCtooL and then choose the custom firmware upgrade. Click the ALL button when upgrading"
I'm very new to VESC and could use some step by step on how to do this. Can anyone help?

I connected to the dual VESC.
I can turn the slave motor by the master.
But what I want to do is to read CAN message with CAN analyzer in VESC tool.
Even if CAN is executed in VESC tool, nothing appears in the CAN analyzer. So how can I check CAN message?
I'm on the latest Unity firmware (5.03 according to the changelog). For some reason scrolling to the RT Data page in the mobile app or enabling the RT toggle in the desktop app immediately freezes the app.
The hardware is a BKB Xenith V2, hooked up to a bicycle hub motor. I'm using the ADC app to keep the original hall effect throttle.
I have a 2019 Amazon Fire HD 10 that I've hacked to sideload the full.apk file. Everything works well except RT Data. I do see data under "Since Start", but nothing under "Trip" nor any graphs. The only permissions (storage & locations) are enabled. Not sure what could be wrong.
Everything works on an Android phone (sideloaded mobile.apk).

I’m having trouble making a change in VESC tool…
I installed a bigger battery, and most of the settings I want to change are accessible through the “Multi Settings” option:
After I make a change I can “Write to All VESCs”:
New to VESC, otherwise my board has been very predictable.
I enabled smart reverse without fully reading the tooltip in the VESC Tool,
I enjoyed being able to back up or hold my position on slight downhills.
But when I was testing how much braking power I could handle, I had what I THOUGHT was brake cut outs using max brake from speed, one of which caused me to fall off the back of my board.

I wan to check the VESC CAN message with Arduino. When I connected Arduino uno and mcp2515 to the VESC CAN pin, I couldn't get any message. How can I read the message?
And after this is solved, I want to control VESC via CAN communication. Is there anything else I need to modify other than code modification?
Please help me!!!
