Latched power switch on Trampa VESC 6 75A

Hi.

I got my first VESC project and I'm having a blast with it. Replaced the original ESC on a electric scooter(moped) with a VESC.

I'd like to use the original key to power on/off the VESC, but I can't seem to get it to work since it's latched. It only seems to work if I turn the key off/on/off (pulsing it manually lol). I've read many places that they've got latched switches to work on their VESC, but it doesnt seem like I can do it.

Am I missing something?

Hello everyone,

as I am diving deeper into compiling my own Firmware on Ubuntu 20.04, I have had some problems. Imo the documentation isn't up to date or at least unspecific for s.o. trying to reproduce the promised result.

Here is a problem I cannot solve: When using the Qt Creator to compile the vesc_tool 6.02 previously downloaded from github, I try to run the code to get:

Warning: Failure to find: res/firmwares/res_fw.qrc

Data log field value detailed descriptions

Submitted by Foilguy on Mon, 2023-06-12 20:59

Forums:

I have recently started logging my efoil sessions using the IOS vesc tools 6.2 logging capability.

I can view the data on my computer using the Vesc tool log analysis function, but I also import the csv file into Excel to be able to sort easily for max and min values etc.

The column headers in Excel have somewhat descriptive names but I'm hoping there is a more detailed description of what each one is.

If that exists can someone post it for download

Thanks

Issue with Vesc Tool: MPU6050 IMU Not Detected After Power Cycling

Submitted by Lennart Duijn on Thu, 2023-06-01 21:54

Forums:

I am currently facing an issue with the Vesc Tool. Specifically, I am experiencing difficulties with the compatibility between the Flipsky 75100 VESC and the MPU6050 IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit). Despite trying various troubleshooting methods over the course of a year, I suspect that the issue lies within the software.

Comm conflict when connecting external imu?

Submitted by Lennart Duijn on Wed, 2023-05-31 22:53

Forums:

When I use the IMU wizard it switched to true when searching for a mpu6050. Shortly after it changes to False again. In the text writing next to it it says this could be a comm issue. I have no clue where to look for this. Even when I select no app Ru use the issue persists. Please help I'm pretty desperate...

Please Help.. VESC Tool 6.02 starts, but window won't open.

Greetings to all,

My VESC tool used to work fine, but haven't used  since February 2023.  Today I went to resolve an issue with a vesc and the tool minimized and doesn't seem to want to open again.  Running task manager shows that the VESC Tool program is running, however it won't open.

How to log events on a non bluetooth onewheel setup

Hi, so I had alot of work to do and decided to build an onewheel from "scratch" instead, got a motor from a citycoco scooter, some aluminum, a flipsky Mini FSESC4.20, a car seat sensor, built a 13s3 pack and started to fall. And I fell about 5 times, not at speed, but I'm a 0.15 ton guy, and falling aint easy ;)

RT Data Logging

Hi,

I'm not quite sure what kind of values are sampled. Or rather what are the values in the csv file after data logging.

I'm not talking about speed, time and that kind of stuff.

I get that for example battery voltage and battery current are just their immediate value as they are DC values.

But when it comes to motor current I would think that it is RMS value, but I'm not sure?
