Hi All,
Just looking to download the VESC Tool app from the Play Store and I get an error that the requested URL cannot be found.
This is from following the link from the VESC Tool Page here. I also attempted to perform a search for the App and it is missing.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=vedder.vesctool
Is the App being phased out?
Do I need to find it on the Git and Sideload it to my android device?
Will this be restored to the Play Store in the future?
@developers, this is probably a question for you. Thank you all for your tireless efforts and all that you have done for the current user-base.
Thank you
Same problem here. Anyone have a clue?

Google took it out of the store due to the logging feature and the privacy policy. The App doesn't log you but uses the positioning service to create a logging file on users deamnd. The App is currently being adjusted and updated to meet the play store terms again. You can find the app in PURCHASED FILES as an APK.
Sideloading is a stupid Apple related term BTW. Just call it installing, a basic right you should have. Get a software from the source you trust and install it....
Once the App is back in the store you shoud re-install it from the play store, so that the app will get all the updates again.
Hi Frank,
Thank you for clarifying. I do use iOS devices as daily drivers, so that term is in my vernacular... I did end up pushing the APK onto my android device and all works as it should.
I'll watch for the App to be available on the Play Store and reinstall it from there.
Thank you again
