im trying to connect a unity with a metr module to vesc tool through Bluetooth but cant get it to find or connect 

Hi everyone, I was wondering, what represents the mAh reading from the vesc?

I ask this because I have planned to used my vesc to monitor the exact amount of mAh present in my battery usong this data. 

Will the mAh reading be the mAh capacity of my battery or will there be some losses?

I will test this on an ebike using an hometrainer, this way the load on the motor will be constant as well as the amount current drained.

I have a VESC 6 and I would like to connect to it with my laptop using bluetooth (as my usb on the vesc is a bit.. broken). I have seen a Bluetooth tab on the vesc tool software however it does not seem to detec the vesc :/. If I try to add a bluetooth device throug windows settings, I can see my VESC esc. 

Am I doing something wrong or is it just not working on windows ? 

My battery is 57.82V on a max charge. I've tried to edit the max voltage settings but it won't allow me to go over 57V. If it's physically impossible for a VESC to run on over 57V then I understand, but if not then I feel like users should be able to override this safety feature (maybe with a warning message).

Is there any way to circumvent this? Would I have to edit a new version of firmware myself or something?

goal control the speed dependency of the angle (with hysteresis)

the best if to have also hysteresis to control the speed of motor

Hello. I'm in desperate need of assistance.

I have a new Trampa with factory settings and want to make sure I'm setting things up correctly for my battery.

it is a 12s8p 30q pack with a discharge bypassed smart BMS. I'm very new to VESC and don't want to destroy anything.

I need to make sure I have the right settings all around and especially for battery output and regen values.

Hey guys, 

I'm trying to setup a motor to spin at less than 100RPM for a project. I have the Maytech 6365. 

I have the VESC setup. I can only get it going slow in a very jumping manner and it's quite unpredictable. 

Any help would be amazing! I've read a lot of posts and tutorials and tried all the settings but obviously don't have the right combo.

Hello, i have installed the latest version (2.06) on my phone. (Asus Zenfone max M1 Linage OS 16)

My BLE Module is listed if i click scan, but if i try to connect i can not reach my VESC.

I have tested 2 HM10 BLE Module (flashed with CC2541hm10v540 firmware)

The Hardware connection ist ok, an other app (ESC Monitor Ackmaniac) can connect to my VESC.

With the Android Vedder VESC Tool are no activity at the TX pin.

How can i solve the problem?

I have a 380v AC 11kw synchronous motor and I can rotate 300 rpm with 500Nm torque. I saw the Vesc tool. Such a program will be useful for performing my engine tests and data logging.
But I could not find any example for that. Can I use VESC for these operations?
Can VESC support me for my tests with Ac synchronous motor?

Dear People, 

I would like to control a Brushless DC motor with VESC. As far as I understood, we can control the motor with different ways. 

I understood that we can control the motor via USB but I couldn't find a document that shows how we can control the motor via USB from PC.
