Hi all,
Hi guys,
i have issue with my vesc tool 1.25 or vesc(flipsky 4.12), i am not sure which one.
yesterday i was able to connect vesc with vesc tool and run bldc as well as foc, arrow keys and adc motor control was also working fine.
today i tried to connect hc-05 bluetooth module making sure i connected wires the right way with no success.
and after that motor control does not work anymore :(
with arrow keys i am not getting anything in rt data tracking windows
Just to say that FOC screen has a typo where second is written with S instead of s.
Hi,
I'm using VESC Tool v1.24 and Dual FSESC4.20. I try to setup my motor and get proper value of ERPM from Realtime Data plot. My motor is an outrunner motor from HoverBoard. It has got 30 magnets and 27 windings. In tab Additional Info, there is a two places when I can type a Motor Poles values. I don't know what exactly I should type there. What others parameters can affect on proper motor's ERPM value?
PS: Maybe someone has an xml files with proper configuration? :)
I followed the steps to compile and build the vesc tool in linux using the steps listed in the "windows_build" file. The build completes with no errors and the .exe file runs on my windows machine. However when I try to connect to my vesc 6 I get the dreaded "cannot read firmware" error. The catch is if I use the pre-built exe downloaded from the web site it connects perfectly. Any suggestions would be very welcome.
The current version of Vesc Tool 1.21 does not recognize my Flipsky 6.6. The Firmware can't update so I am hoping to find a previous version of Vesc Tool or a version that works with my 6.6 Flipsky. I'm open to suggestions. Other than, get a Unity. LOL!
I have 2X VESC 4.12 and am having trouble with CAN bus. I have only the two middle wires connected and just flashed new firmware and setup motor config on each.
Individually the motors work fine, but the wizards are not picking up (or giving me options) to select other connected VESCs. I manually went into the app and made sure they have different VESC ID numbers (0 and 1), have the same status and baud rates, and slave sends status CAN_STATUS_1 at 50Hz.
Using Dual FSESC 4.20 Plus and VX1 remote and running FOC with 2 BLDC motors. I go to setup input > Master VESC > PPM RC receiver > PPM mapping. I also turned on RT app data. When I push and pull the throttle, no data is displayed on the "VESC Tool" and "From VESC" bars on the Pulselength section. Remote, receiver, and motors seem to work fine when I hit the throttle outside of the setup. I keep going to "General" to change "APP to use" to PPM instead of PPM and UART, but it doesn't save that option, if that's a relevant problem. Could be the firmware too.
Hello, folks,
built my three-year-old daughter a little bicycle.
but I have a little problem with the throttle response and the acceleration.
I built an electronic e-bike throttle and connected it to the ADC1 input. I set Min Voltage (0,85V) and Max Voltage (2,55V). Center Voltage is set to 1.7V.
Benjamin, would it be possible to remove the bootloader update section from FW Tab?
Lately I have been unable to update the Firmware on my VESCs (HW60). After doing some research I not only found that I probably have accidentally bricked them by updating the bootloader, I also noticed there are quite a few others that are stuck with the firmware update and have probably made the same mistake without even noticing.
