Apparenltly I left something running quite a while. Now the timescale has become useless.... 1.8819E6......
Hi,
I'm using LG 4K monitor(UD88). On that monitor, vesc-tool is shown improperly, especially texts on left side.
UI Scale Factor is not helpful. Any one who knows how to solve this?
Thanks
Benjamin added a new Feature called Acceleration Temperature Decrease.
This feature allows you to leave temperature headroom for the brakes to work. You simply can't push the motors or VESC or both to their absolute pre-defined temperature limits any more. In consequence the brakes will still work, even if you push your system to a soft power cutoff during your ride. Please download the latest VESC-Tool and update to the latest firmware! Stay safe and implement this feature.

Thanks Frank, and special thanks to Benjamin.
Just tested the 0.84 version with all ADC options, works great for me.
Now I can use a potentiometer to vary the speed from 250 erpm to 30000 erpm in FOC.
Tested in simple Duty cycle, PID, and Current with no reverse features.

Hi everyone!
I'm new here and pretty new to electric skateboards. I have a DIY-skateboard and I use the nano remote (the one that is called Torqueboards 2,4ghz nano on DIY).The remote has a lot of buttons and I was wondering if it would be possible to map them to different modes? Like on the boards you buy usually have a remote where you can switch between beginner intermediate and advance for example. Would that be possible?
Thanks and take care!
I want to use the VESC Tool to control a test motor on my dyno, e.g. to set up different rpm's in a sequence. This should be done automatically by calling the VESC Tool from another program. Are there any command line options available or does anybody know if I can use the capabilities of VESC Tool not by using the GUI but with some kind of script. Maybe there are other possibilities I don't know?
Changing minimum duty cycle prevents VESC from connecting via USB while ADC throttle is connected. I need to unplug my ADC throttle, refresh the connection, then change the minimum back to 0.5%. I don't understand enough about this paramater to know why this is happening, does anyone have any insight?
When attempting to change the Maximum Duty Cycle in Motor Settings->General->Advanced from 95% to 100% I am told the value was truncated for being above the allowable limit. Why is 95% the duty cycle limit?
I have version 0.82 of the Mac OS X VESC tool.
Hi there,
i think I need some help here.
I just got my Enertion Focbox and wanted to update my firmware. I had trouble to find the right tool, long story short, I found a freshly built VESC Tool in another forum and happily updated the Firmware. Upload went fine, but I got errors while detecting the motor parameters. Turns out the software I found had only HW 60... I need 412...
