As anyone successfully compiled the VESC-Tool for Raspbian (using the Raspberry Pi 3)? I tried following the instructions provided in the source code, but i'm running into issues when running the ./configure command for qt:
What settings should I look at to increase the startup torque of the motor in FOC please? With the encoder it is very smooth but I would like to maximise the torque available at low speed.
In the tool additional info is a space the enter motor poles. Is this stator poles or rotor poles, e.g. number of windings or number of magnets? Could we have both?
Line 384 in vescinterface.cpp should be changed to this so that windows can identify the right port automatically.

Because windows identifies the manufacturer as "STMicroelectronics." with a dot at the end.
I've just seen Trampa says there is a new version available.
How to know you are downloading the new version?

HW 4.12 with FW 3.27 seems to have some troubles in BLDC mode, but not in FOC mode, and not with FW 2.18!
Test done with TMOTOR U8 not loaded.
BLDC mode sensored (I've glued sensors an tested with other controllers), and detection works well quickly.
Duty cycle mode works, Current mode works, but not speed mode (violent cogging, erratic, and sometime reverse rotation).
Any other people having experiment that problem?!

Using BLDC Tool i could limit my board's rpm using the PPM limits. This options are gone and i've looked everywhere and just can't find a way to limit my boards speed anymore, hence making it unsafe/unusable.
The displayed time seams wrong.
If I enable keyboard control and RT data and run the motor for 5 seconds the x-axis shows around 16 seconds.
FW modified 3.27, tool 0.80, custom HW, Windows 7 64 bit.
Is it the same for everbody?

I just updated my HW4.12 to the latest firmware.
This, as well as the wizard aided setup worked flawlessly.
However i can't seem to get the cruise Control Button, which I connected to the PPM input of the esc to work again.
I am using the Current no reverse Brake Center mode.
Do I Maybe have to connect the cruise control button to another pin on the 4.12 ?
