PPM with ADC

Hello

Any chance you can add PPM with ADC input in the future?

Or if a custom firmware can be made

i built a custom power wheels for my son an i want to have ADC input set and override it with PPM for safety purposes

if that is not possible, how can i save both configurations of ppm and adc and just jump between them by bluetooth or a pfisical button 

now every time i want to change from ppm to adc or the other way around i have to do the input setup wizard evry time

UART for NRF51822 on "old" nrf pins ?

first thanks for your great work, i really like your project.

one (more) question from my side: do you think it is possible to connect a NRF51822 modul on the pins where you connect th nrf24l01 in your vesc 6 schematic ?

so the normal uart will be free for debug and other use

uROS support

Micro ROS is pretty new but I saw a couple of factors that might work in favor of getting support:

NutX support

ST support

In some of the examples they load a NutX app onto a STM32-E407 board.

I am working on a ROS2 driver for the VESC 4.12 but this would be a great reason to upgrade to VESC 6.

hello together, is there a way to use the VESC 75/300 as a security device? 
1. If a short circuit occurs in the system, the VESC must completely shut off the power. 
2. Is there a possibility to stop the engine immediately, if e.g. a magnetic switch is triggered? Many thanks for your help.

DC to AC pure-sine inverter mode

Using the half bridges of the controller to output a pure-sine for DC to AC purposes would be awesome! One would of course have to connect the controller to a transformer and probably filter circuitry to get the desired 120/240V. I guess it could be configured so that you have 3-phase output with each switch node being 120 degrees apart or all of them in phase for a beefy single phase output.

Hello

I am new to vesc and im not very good with programing

i bought a flipsky 6.6 PLUS and flipsky 6374 190kv 3250w motors

For batteries im using 2 Lead acid 22A batteries in series

I am building a very fast ride on car for my son

my idea is to have an acceleration pedal, a brake pedal and a reverse button on ADC imput 

ADC1 acceleration pedal

ADC2 brake pedal

ADC3 reverse switch

Also it will be very nice if i can have a remote override the ADC inputs (PPM and ADC with PPM override)

Standby - consumption when battery is conencted

Hey,

 

I like to have a feature which allows me to forgot that I have battery connected to VESC6 the the VESC go into standby state and only use very little power.

I lost two LiPo Battery because I forgot to disconnect them after doing some quick test. Very annoying to recycle good battery. I remove battery like 1-2 weeks later, and it was already too late.

 

Proposal: after 1h without any action go to standby, maybe this can be configure in software, how fast this should happend.
