hello together, is there a way to use the VESC 75/300 as a security device? 
1. If a short circuit occurs in the system, the VESC must completely shut off the power. 
2. Is there a possibility to stop the engine immediately, if e.g. a magnetic switch is triggered? Many thanks for your help.

You need to be a bit more precise. If you have a short, there should be a fuse handling that. A short in the motor phase wires will kill the VESC immediately.
