The current PPM APP allows the user to configure a single channel to control throttle (duty, current, etc.)

CPPM sends all the receiver channels on one signal channel.  This is often used in multirotor flight controllers.

Having additional channels could offer the more options with standard receivers utilising the existing PPM input of the VESC.

Not sure if this is the right place to post a feature request like this but here we go;

I would love to go reverse with my MTB but I'm afraid because I've read several times about people where one or both wheels were spinning reverse when hard braking. If it's possible to set an ERPM limit where above the limit the reverse function is not working, that would be great! For me reverse function only makes sense from standstill.
