Can somebody please help me with what parameters to put into VESC Tool so that i dont end up killing my batteries please. my motor is 36v 750w and my batteries are 2 5s 5.0ah LiPos wired in series.

i have some doubs trying to analise the CSV records made by the android tool to help me choose a good battery pack to buy
i have an old scooter that i upgraded with a 4.12 vesc and a bldc hub motor but i'm still using lead acid batteries
so my question is wich value in the CSV i have to look (and what does it mean), please let me know if i'm right
"current_in_setup" is the current that the battery is giving or providing
"current_motor_setup" is the current that the motor is using in the moment
Hello, First would like to say that i have setup this exact setup and it was working just fine, and i haven't changed anything about the setup, but for some reason every time i plug my VESC into the tool for some tweaks it makes me update my FW even though its up to date.

Is it possible to connect vesc through CANbus to a computer (without other VESC) so you can reprogram it?
I mean, imagine you have a lot of VESCs in one installation across a warehouse, all CANbus connected (no USB access to them).
Can you upgrade the firmware and settings with VESCTOOL, without the need of another VESC connected to a computer?

I have a transmitter Frsky Taranis and receiver 8XR.
They are linked but VESC does not see any transmitter signal: in the VESC tool I do not see any signal movemement during the input wizard.
Why? What I can do?

does anyone know where to get the new version 2.03 for OSX?
This version doesn't work on my windows machine for some reason.
Had better luck with OSX 2.02 but it truncates my parameters.
Maybe the new version works better.
I'm not sure if this is the right section.
I have a VESC 4.12 which worked great, but I made the mistake of updating the firmware because the newer tool didn't work with the old FW.
Now when I do the motor detection (which worked) and want to upload the parameters to the VESC a lot of parameters are truncated.
The Motor runs but it's really bad. need to change Ki and Kp settings at least but it won't even let me do that.
Always says "parameters truncated" and I can't even change it for lower setting.
