Hi, can anyone help regarding schematics?
Which one is VESC 6.6? There is only 6.4 and 6.5 aka 6 Plus, right? Is 6.6 == MK5? Are MK6 schematics available?
Hi! my ESC (VESC 6 MK VI HP) is listed as having braking current capabilities and I was going to use it as a variable resistive torque on a test rig. Would I need to be able to communicate with the ESC via the VESC tool to activate its braking current capabilities or can I just plug a motor in and push against its spin?
I am so lost!!! I am totally new to VESC. I have no computer background. I am trying to build a dual motor for my fishing boat. I am using Maytech Foil Boost 100A V6 Speed Controller for SUP/Foil/Esk8/Robots. I have a bluetooth receiver MTSRR1905 for MTSKR1905WF remote. I have 6374 150kv sensorless motor.
I have everything connected and powered up. I have paired my remote with my bluetooth receiver. I can run the motors forward, but not in reverse. I should be able to make some adjustments using the VESC Tool and following Maytech FAQ and blog info.
Hi VESC community,
Hi, I need to log the force value of a load cell.
My Idea was to to read it with and Arduino and then send it to the VESC 75100 somehow.
As the VESC has the PPM input and its pretty easy to send out this from the Arduino, I was doing that. Now I notices that the VESC don't even log the PPM input value.
Is it in ANY way possible to have the data in the log file of the phone app? I also have a ESP32 and also a CAN Board for it. For example converting it to analog and reading an analog port of the VESC? I cannot find a way.
Hi!
I would like to hear opinion if there is anything wrong with doing only back motor field weakening and no regen or minimal regen and front motor without FW and high regen.
I currently have both front and back motor on escooter set with FW current of 35A at 65% with 500ms ramp, and it works pretty good apart from regen brake is sketchy sometimes it barely works or needs few seconds to brake well then next time it will slam it hard enough to make me wheelie on front.
If I wanted variable regen with an ADC input, is there a seperate throttle curve for the braking portion, or would iit default to linear?
If linear, would the amps into the battery double from 50% braking to 100%, or is the amperage some other function of brake input?
Hello! Is there a way in which you can quickly change the mode of control of the electric motor without connecting via bluetooth or usb: duty cycle/current? This function can be controlled using PPM or UART if connected to a flight controller?
Hi,
