USB port connection error VESC 6 MkVI

Submitted by LeeJeonghyeon on Wed, 2025-08-13 17:07

Hi, I use a VESC 6 MK6 to power an F110 racing car. The problem is that, at some point, the VESC's USB port suddenly stopped working. I would like to know why it malfunctioned and how to fix it.

I replaced the VESC's battery connector from XT90 to XT60 and the three-phase motor connector from a 4 mm jack to a 3.5 mm jack.

I used the default firmware when connected to the VESC tool and only adjusted the speed PID gain.

hi I have a mks 60100hp its driving a bosch gen4 ebike motor unit.

the set up runs great very powerfull.

problem is its on a xc mountain bike and the power band could do with smoothing out , more lowdown power is required its a bit peaky all or nothing which is a pain on single track.

any ideas how i can tame the beast?

i have vesc 75100 flipsky

with motor 10 inch but i dont know how many W
in auto detect vesc tool sets it to 60A
can i use it option safe ?

i think my motor 350W
also im trying to get more toruqe in the start
its feels like the torque increases gradually.
some one can help me ?

The throttle is connected to ADC 1,

Sleep mode?

Hi there,

i am currently building an ebike with a FLIPSKY 4-13S Lipo ESC Speed Control Mini FSESC6.7. since i have very limited space for the hardware i was thinking bout leaving the anti spark swich and directly connect the battery to the esc via some xt90s anti spark connectors (which are way smaller) and just leave the esc running all times.

is there any way to get vesc into some kind of sleep mode to save as much power as possible?

thanks a lot for ideas!

cheers

Motor runs heavy in one direction, light in the other / No speed in realtime interface / Correct phase & hall wiring?

Hi there, i am very new to the vesc and electic motor world.
i have started to build a setup for an ebike but have some basic problems with settings up the controller / motor combination. here is my current setup:

VESC Replacing Shunt Resistor with Hall Current Sensor?

Submitted by happy85 on Fri, 2025-07-18 06:21

Can the shunt-resistor-based current sensing in the VESC controller be replaced with an automotive Hall effect (magnetic ring type) current sensor?

Based on the VESC6 high-power circuit schematic, the INA240 has been replaced by a Hall effect current sensor, while the analog switch circuitry has been retained.
The hardware used is based on the 75_100_R3 design.
The specifications of the Hall effect current sensor are as follows:
