Hello,

I'm hoping someone can help diagnose a fault in my dual VESC controller. I have (pretty much) confirmed that the internal CAN bus forwarding is not working on my Flipsky FSESC6.7.

Here is what I have proven through extensive testing:

1. My host computer (a Raspberry Pi) and its UART port are fully functional (verified with a successful loopback test).

2. The VESC correctly receives and executes direct commands sent over UART to whichever side is physically connected.

I'm trying to control a VESC with Python on a Raspberry Pi.

It seems all the common libraries (PyVESC, pyvesc-plus, vedder) have been abandoned or deleted.

What library is everyone actually using to do this in late 2025?

Hi all.  I dug out my old DIY board today and had to do a re configuration due to the time it sat in storage and the motors were struggling to spin up and other times it would happily spin up one side when accelerating with the remote.  It has a 6 or 7 year old Flipsky FSV 6.6 ESC.

Im sorry if this is the wrong spot in the forum but im at my wits end;)  I'm new to the form and I thank you in advance for any help you could give me.

Basically I have a Raspberry Pi connected to a flipsky FSESC6.7 VESC controller (firmware 5.2). This is my second actual controller because I also had the same issue with the maker X GO FOC D4Vs controller (Firmware 6.0.3).

I'm trying to get the Raspberry Pi and the VESC controller to talk with UART over the TX/RX Gpio pins.

We are using the VESC 75/300 with  TP100 motor for water propulsion.

While using the FOC controller we are unable to achieve more tha 6000 rpm in water even when there is plenty of energy.

The problem is apparently due to noise in the FOC observer.

We want to employ the BLDC controller which is more robust. However, the VESC Tool 6.02 is unable to tune up the controller, and do not allow to entering manual values for the R-L, flux.

We greatly appreciate your help

For example, features such as encoder error compensation for precise position control, cogging effect mitigation, or absolute limits for position control.

Hi everybody, 

Since the latest VescTool update for Android, I've been unable to connect my THOR301 to my smartphone. Everything was working perfectly just before the update.

Now when I try to connect my smartphone to my X7 via Bluetooth, a message appears : BLE Error: UnknownRemoteDevice.

Is anyone else having the same problem?
