Hi,
We installed my beefed up VESC on the target motor.
Hi there,
Relatively new DIY eBiker here. I'm providing current to my motor using a hall-sensing throttle on ADC (3 wire: 3.3V,GND,Signal). However, once everything is set up and written to the VESC, the connection between the throttle and VESC is very touchy. Any physical movement makes the motor spin up. This is a definite safety issue, so does anyone have an idea for a fix to this?
Best,
EBR
I can't open any of my private messages apart from the latest one. Mildly inconvenient lol
I want to detect encoder(AS5048A) on a 42-pole motorwith. Vesc-tool can not get the right ratio and will get 4,7 or 8 randoml, it can not get 21.
Hi,
I have problem with new VESC 6.
My setup is 12S running in FOC mode. Motor is powering water propeller. Max motor current was set to 90A and it is working fine at lower voltages(<42V). Maybe even at 12S at beginning but I am not sure anymore.
The forum is broken. I just opened a topic, saw no replies and typed in a big response. Then after clicking "SAVE" I still saw only the original question. Turns out there were three other responses (that I don't know how to see), which may have made my response unnecessary. I'm willing to help and explain but not when my effort goes down the drain.
Hey there,
I am pretty new to all this and hoping you guys can help me understand something. I really tried soaking up as much information about electric skateboards and vescs as possible before I built one but apparently I missed something which left me in a messy accident.
Hey guys, i didnt find any FAQ that tells me where or how i should open a Thread about a problem so hopefully im on the right spot here.
My Setup is
Vesc 4.10
Turnigy Aerodrive SK3 – 6364 – 213kv Brushless Outrunner Motor
2x ZIPPY Compact 5800mAh 10S 25C Lipo-Pack 37v
Everything works fine, the Motor spins in the vesc tool over the key arrow, the only Problem is that i wont get an signal of my Reely GT2 Remote or my Nyko Kama Nunchuk to the Vesc
I see Linux, Windows, and Android?
Any other mac users have success with this?
The "detect BLDC parameters" feature works great when I don't have the hall sensors plugged in.
... but then I plug in the hall sensor (6 pin connector at the top of the board) and now the motor won't spin up. It doesn't even twitch.
I tried playing with the duty cycle, the amperage, and the ERPM... but I can't get the motor to move at all while the hall sensors are plugged in. Just says "detection failed" after about 5-10 seconds.
