This mobile app was developed originally for a non-Vesc controller but later on was adapted for our 25kw version controller now running vesc firmware as described here: https://vesc-project.com/node/1477

The app has a bunch of original features such as weather forecast, moving map, online telemetry logging, and a few other things mostly geared towards ebikes and other light vehicles.

Losing configuration and imu drift

I have two 75100 connected over can. They setup through foc and everything seems to work. Then the imu starts rolling back and forth. When this occurs the real time data screen locks up any time I try to open it. When  it is functioning I try to get my home made one wheel to move and it will if I am not on it. If I get on it then it does nothing. Or it kicks and does nothing until power cycle. During power cycle all settings stay. Yet nothing seems to work until a setting is changed and saved.

So this driver uses the same input for Hall or the encoder. It also has a mode for an ABI encoder, but none for one with no index.

what happend?

The gates of the 7769 Mosfets are driven too hard / Gate resistors too small (maybe just a design issue (hard switching = distortion)

On prevous 75200 (until 2021) the six Gate Resistors are 1.6 ohm ( SMD 0603)

Later they change them to 4.7 ohm .

BUT ,
if the input voltage is higher than 30V there are massive Problems with cogging / stuttering / Motor screaming.

When the voltage gets over 45V it ist just unusable.

FSESC running rough recently

Hi forum,

I have a FSESC and just recently all of a sudden my Ebike motor (Mac/Puma) runs rough at speeds less than 18kmph.

I don't know why this happened. I didn't change anything.

The FSESC is about 4yrs old and ran perfect before. I did motor detection again but it stays the same.

It's a flipsky unit. Could it be that the capacitors are bad? I need 63v low ESR types right?

Should I just replace those?

FOC Startup issues

Im not sure if I posted this in the correct location - if not mod please move...

 

Anyway im currently struggeling to have a smooth foc startup using 3.01 and a chinese FESC75200. The cheap chinese impementation does not have the phase filters - Disabled.

In the sensorless tab all the openloop presets dont work nicely, however best performer is suprisingly fast start. My observation are violent "shocks" (likely when reaching openloop ERPM).

Looking for paid help to customize VESC board

Hi all, our company is currently using the Holybro MIN FOC ESC with a few modifications, a position sensor, plus an ESP32 for wifi and CAN communications for our prototype testing, and we will soon need a customized integrated board that will better fit our mechanical constraints and stresses. It may be as simple as integrating these existing boards onto one single sided PCB. In the interest of time, we think it would be best to pay someone who is already experienced developing custom VESC boards. If you or anyone is interested, please reach out!
