Flipsky 75100 V2 ADC Filtering?

Submitted by lorentz343 on Thu, 2025-11-27 14:57

Hi,

to introduce myself a bit: As a (soon-to-be open source) hobby project, I want to build a "smart" workout machine with a controller with VESC firmware (the machine uses motors instead of weights to create resistance).
And I have a professional background on PMSM motorcontrol, also with STM32 and even used the AS5047 sensor in the past. Without this background, I'd not even consider such a project...

VESC hardware without using a DRV chip

Submitted by kyletseng on Fri, 2025-11-21 09:07

I am trying to make a custom VESC compatible hardware setup, and I have seen examples of gate drivers from TI's UCC series being used. I have UCC21520 gate drivers and I seem to be confused on how I would go about modifying the source code to be able to work without a DRV chip, as all of the examples with code I can find seem to only use the DRV chips, and looking into the code with my beginner level coding experience makes it seem like there is no option to remove or ignore the DRV communication over SPI.

Issue with my Bluetooth connection on VESC

WIN_20251013_16_27_29_Pro.jpgHi, I am trying to connect my Bluetooth module to my vesc so I can program it with having to acces it. It is coming up with multiple errors including this hardware version does not have a SWD connection to the NRF5X module. I also got 'The BLE module does not support setup. You can try updating the firmware on it from the swd programmer page'

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks.

Problems updating firmware to the latest version

Submitted by Er-Chispa on Mon, 2025-10-06 17:00

Hello everyone,

I'm new to the exciting world of VESC Project. I recently purchased two Flipsky 75200 controllers. I've been playing around with them and managed to get the motors working, but today I discovered how to update the firmware version, as it indicated that there was a new version available.

To my surprise, after updating them, I can no longer set the maximum input voltage beyond 72V, even though I have a 20S battery that reaches 84V.

Does anyone know why this is happening and how to fix it?
