VESC Original Hardware

I am setting up with an Ebike Bafang 750W 5-1 Geared Hub motor. Running 2000 watts max. I am not using any regen braking so no voltage spikes are going to come in. The problem I have is when my 14S 13AH battery comes off charge it's right at 58.1V. This triggers the 57V alarm. Is there any way to raise this 57V fault upper limit without re-compiling the firmware?

I need to connect Maytech water proof remote to my VESC 75/300. I need to do wiring from PPM and COMM ports. What is the connector type where I can source male connectors?

• I have a mountainbike with a astroflight 3215 connected to the rear wheel with a 2 stage reduction. On the intermediate shaft I have a freewheel, the ratio from the motor to this shaft is 4:1.
• Battery is 12s.
• motor kv is 169
• Phase current set to 60 A
• throttle controls duty cycle

The motor wizard did a good job and the combination works great, except for one big problem.

Just found out that the vesc 6 MKIII was replaced by the vesc 6 MKIV. Any clues what the differences between the two are ?

Which +5v pins on the vesc 4.12 can be used to safely power an Arduino or similar boards without frying the vesc?
How many mA can maximally be drawn?

As the Subject suggests, I appear to have smoked my VESC today. It is a VESC 6 from TRAMPA that I have been using to balance my custom onewheel build. I have just recently got to the point where I can actually move my motors and what not, but I have always been having the balance app go into 'fault' mode, which basically just disables outputs to the motors as far as I can tell.

Hello, the Grin Tech motor i am using has a speed pin sensor coming out with the hall sensor and main power wires. Is there a port on the VESC 6+ I can plug this into to get accurate motor speed information? Thank you,

Is there any reason why the 75/300 has its VCC set to 3.4V?

Tomorrow all was ok. But today i can't connect to my vesc with android app. What i need to do? 

I did a phone and vesc restart and it not help me.

hi fellow skaters, 

few days ago i accidentally shorted battery positiv to negative housing of usb port and yes there were spectacular sparks flying. Fortunately everything was fine and vesc is working like a charm. now ive discovered that actually connecting vesc to pc dont work. my guess is that usb chip or something related was fried during that short. please can u help me figure out what is wrong. ive tried switching usb cables :)
