Is there any reason why the 75/300 has its VCC set to 3.4V?
Tomorrow all was ok. But today i can't connect to my vesc with android app. What i need to do?
I did a phone and vesc restart and it not help me.
hi fellow skaters,
few days ago i accidentally shorted battery positiv to negative housing of usb port and yes there were spectacular sparks flying. Fortunately everything was fine and vesc is working like a charm. now ive discovered that actually connecting vesc to pc dont work. my guess is that usb chip or something related was fried during that short. please can u help me figure out what is wrong. ive tried switching usb cables :)
Hi everyone,
I'm in the process of repairing a few vescs ( 4.12s, focboxes and 6s)
I managed to repair all the '' DRV FAULT '' ones I have by simply replacing the IC using a hot air station
However I have many left that seem to suffer from more complex issues. Examples :
Focbox, Replaced DRV and MCU, get a '' high offset current sensor 2 '' fault and phase is at battery potential even though the mosfets are not shorted. FET gates are not shorted to bat+.
I have a Vesc 6.4. Trampa states that it can support 80A continuously and 120A in bursts. I use it for an efoil. So what is the maximum motor and battery currents? My battery pack can support 200A in theory. My Motor has 200A peak. So the Vesc is the limitting factor, but I don't know if that 80A setting is for the battery or the motor.
Hi.
Bought two vesc 6mk3. Removed all segway brains and use only two vesc. I am Using it on my Segway Ninebot with "app to use" in "Balance mode".
BUT how to RC my segway with a standard RC system?
I am new in it, so need more explanation step by spet if it is possible :).
I can pay for your help, if you don't have enough time to explain here everything i need to know.
Thanks. Best regards Andrii Shramko.
Hello Everyone,
I had previously worked ona a VESC remote control, it worked pretty good, using a larger screen, a teensy and a xbee.
Lately I have been using the wand, and I enjoy it a lot, my xbee communication tended to drop some packages and had a lot of interference. The problem is that i don't like, of thing the wand is ergonomic..
and using the pistol grip makes it a little bit big for me... I'm wondering, is Wand also open source? do we have the access to the hardware files?
Today I burned my Vesc 75/300 while testing it without load.
I was using the Vesc since one year without problems in my Surron bike.
Some weeks ago I switched to 16S from 14S battery and had some ABS_Overcurrent faults on fast accelerating at about 380A phase current. Normal riding was possible without problems on lower currents.
Hi everyone,
I just received the Maytech MTSESC6.6 and I am brand new to the project with a couple of questions. What a great community! Please talk to me like I'm 5, this is all new but I learn pretty fast. LOL.
1. What resolution should I choose for the encoder? (100, 128 ... 1024, 1250.... 5000, 8192) So many options!
2. What type of electrical output should the encoder have? (line driver or open collector)
3. Do I need an index pulse for motor Top Dead Center?
When exactly in spring will it be available? Price?
On/off button for precharge?
Any special price for people who preordered the VESC 75/300 and wondered that after some months that the price dropped 100€?
Specification I found on github and trampaboards.com:
