Hello,
hello all - i tried using my free copy of the vesc tool from two devices yesterday, to try and discern why it was crashing about a minute after starting - both installations exhibited the same behaviour, and when i tried connecting to this website in case there was a known issue, i discovered that the website itself was down - is the free version phoning home (authenticating against the website)? i would like to contribute to the platinum version and recognise this great tech gifted to the community - i notice that the platinum build is a later version as well, so perh
Hi, after a short on one site of my dual vesc6 3.3v rail, i managed to swap the stmF4 and one 3.3v LDO. Chip is one of my Flight controller from my Fpv mini quad The green lights working again using stlink v2 But the motor detection gives to high values. Resistance on the bad side is, Motor R =950mohm while the other working side is 9mohm. The values for Motor L are fine. Motor flux linkage sometimes 0 mWb on bad side.
Hi everyone,
Is there anyone who has worked on a project to stop the motor at an exact desired location or point without using any position sensors?
Hello guys,
I have a few questions concerning the current VESC tool 1.16 (to my knowledge, there isn`t really a complete manual that explains all functionalities). What I would like to know as a beginner is:
1) Motors can be configured either by using the wizard or manually. It seems to me the wizard does not cover all settings that can be adjusted in manual mode. So does the wizard basically use the preset values from manual mode for the settings it does not cover?
I have 2 vesc 4.12s with the latest vesc tool. I cant seem to figure out how to connect them together. i have done everthing that I have seen and I got it to work by chance. Then I turn off the power and turn it on again and it quits working. if anyone know how to do this it would be greatly appreciated I have been fighting this for 2 days now.
Hi all,
I've got an old Galaxy S3 phone I don't use any more. Its only purpose would be to run the VESC tool. I don't even know if it comes with v7 of Android. If not, is there a way I can re-format this phone with the correct version of Android & get the VESC tool to work?
Cheers.
Hello Everyone,
I am curious if others would also like the following feature to come to vesc-tool :
I bought 2 VESCs from @torqueboards and they came with FW versions 3.5. The hardware is 4.12 but shows as 4.10 in VESC-Tool.
When I connect them to the VESC-Tool, I get a message saying the connection is limited and I can only update the firmware.
I was able to update the FW for one of them using the VESC-Tool and it successfully went from 3.5 to 3.58.
