i think i need some help with my VESC Setup in my powerboat.

I run an Catamaran with an Lehner 1940-6S with 1510 U/V on 4S... i run the wizzard and it run okay.

The wizzard also setup the Current Limit to 61A.

I am testing a Predator 37/6 Motor on an Vesc 75/300 with a 28x14 propeller reaching 200 Phaseamps with a 16S Li ion battery without problems. 

The motor is a 2kg sensorless Outrunner 170KV used for RC planes. I am using it in current control in beta fw from 27.06.2021

In detection it suggested 250A. In general the motor is capable of 15KW peak. So in theory I should reach more than 7KW as now.

Fairly new to the VESC project and only just started looking at logs.

Recorded a manual sweep of 0-95% duty cycles to have a look at the current.

Is it normal for the motor and battery current to vary so much? ERPM seems stable at 95% duty cycle, but motor current is varying about 20a and motor current varying about 40a.

Would this be more stable if the motor was tuned better? Are there any resources around this? Youtube videos etc?

In the BESC-G2 v1 board that we have assembled the Battery Current shown in the vesc tool is much lower than the actual current measured using Ammeter.

The current meter on the battery end shows a no load battery current of 7Amps when the motor is running at full speed, but the Vesc Tool shows the current to be under 2Amps.

I am working on a project where I need to make my alternator act as a generator and charge the battery.

can someone tell me what setting should I change to make it charge the battery?

So I have connected my VESC 4.21 to a 190KV motor. Using UART, I have paired an Arduino Due with it and powering the VESC with 24 volts. I am using SolidGeek's library(https://github.com/SolidGeek/VescUart) to run the motors.

Hi, I have four motor chassis that is using VESC BLDC motor controllers. I am using ros to control them over the can bus and am wondering if there are any can drivers or nodes for ros that I could use instead of writing my own.

I am having an issue where I have connected a Arduino MKR1400 with the VESC 6 MKv5 and I am having issues with the data being streamed. I am using the code by Solidgeek from the link: VescUart/getVescValues.ino at master · SolidGeek/VescUart (github.com). The issue is I always see Failed to get data when the TX pin of the VESC is connected to the RX pin of the MKR1400 and the RX pin of the VESC is connected to the TX pin of the MKR1400.

We have issues with our HW 4.12 ESCs, the driver explodes during normal operation and We can't find out the reason. I am attaching picture of the vesc tool graphs. I would appreciate if anyone helped with this.  the duty cycle basically goes up to infinity.

I have FSESC 6.6 plus from Flipsky and the JST 6 pin 2 mm pitch female sensor connectors on the controller are cracked and broken, this causes the motors to cog intermittently, can I switch the settings under FOC to sensor less or HFI instead ? If so are there any other settings I need to look at ?

I have a big group ride Saturday and will not have time to replace the connectors
