I am running a MY1020 48 V 1500 W motor on a VESC, BLDC works super good but FOC is crazy rpm limited.
BLDC reaches the specified 22500 erpm easily but FOC does not go over something around 4300 erpm.
Is there anything I can do to make FOC work as nice as BLDC?
I am awaiting a A200S in the hopes that it will handle it better.
I am running the motor of a 4P14S LiFePo4 Pack.
My dual FSESC 4.20 stopped working (one side only), and can not be programed - it supplies 5v fine, but 0v on the 3.3v line - and if I plug my external programmer in, the programmer shuts down (the 3.3v problem seems to be a short - which is why the programmer "gives up", because it can't supply 3.3v into the short).
The same programmer worked fine on both sides before, and works OK on the working side.
Obviously, the USB doesn't work at all on that side either.
Hi!
I'm back with second generation of my BESC controller. I took a few different approaches this time.
Hello,
Ive a big problem with my Flipsky 4.12 50A VESC...when driving for a few minutes it suddenly starts to brake randomly for 1-2 sec then switches back to normal and repeats after a short time again and again.
This is very dangerous...I almost fell from my board because of this.
My Motor setup:
BLDC / Motor Current Max and Max Brake: 50A / absolute max current: 120A
Battery current max: 50A / Battery current max regen: -20A
I have two brand new Flipsky 6.6 Dual Vescs. I can connect to one via USB but not either side of the other one. I bought a ST-Link and can connect to both of them that way.
The one that I can connect to is programmed the way I want the second one. Is there a way to download the configuration from the one I can connect to via USB (or ST-Link) and upload that configuration to the other one via ST-Link ?
thanks,
I have 2 of the VESC's you can buy from TorqueBoards.
Hey Guys. I've got an 8085 6000w 170kv motor https://flipsky.net/products/brushless-dc-motor-8085-170kv-6000w-for-electric-skateboard and the maytech vesc6 200a controller https://michobby.com/collections/controller-based-on-vesc-project/products/maytech-electric-longboard-vesc-6-0-based-

Hello guys using THESAME and SIngle MCU(stm32df4x) it possible to hookup atleast an additional motor and driver to the ciruit, and customizing code to control two motors at once or theree isnt enough gpio left or it is not advisable at all
