Hi! How to wire simultaneously bluetooth module and 9dof sensor? My bluetooth now connected to TX RX, but it is the same pins for SCL SDA which are necessary for 9dof sensor. Thanks.
Gent's,
strange behavior on vesc.
I had the esc, with a special motor running. Everything was lookig normal, and nice. In BLDC mode and in FOC mode.
In FOC mode, during "power - off", I got a flash light from esc ! :-(
Maybe USB was still conected !
And now the guy is dead. During power off, the motor was not runnng, and I thought, I had nothing active !
Ok, I open the case, and the components have no "optical" problem, on a first view.
Any hints ?
Is that the correct schematic for the esc ?
Hi, I am trying to use the VESC 6 MK3 as a BMS (as well as an ESC), and it occurs to me that the VESC MCU and the sensors would have to be supplied by something other than the main battery. But according to the schematic, every active component--including the MCU--seems to be supplied VCC, which I would guess is stepped down from the main battery voltage? Can someone please confirm my understanding?
Thanks for reading,
Henry
Hello,
As the title says, I am trying to get my VESC 6 MK4 to work for a quite high RPM motor. According to this document https://vesc-project.com/node/183 the VESC 6 should be able to achieve 150K ERPM at maximum. The problem is that as soon as I try to go beyond the default value of 100000 ERPM, even if only by small amount, the motor desyncs when I surpass this value and the ESC starts acting weird until I cycle power on the VESC.
Hi!
I've got a ~2016 "Enertion" VESC version 4.7 (red circuit board). I've used it for years on & off but wanted to connect to PC and see there's a new "vesc tool" these days... took a while but I got the latest version (2.06) compiling on mac, and got the VESC connected. When it connects, I'm told:
"The connected VESC has too old firmware. Since the connected VESC has firmware with bootloader support, it can be updated from the Firmware page. Until then, limited communication mode will be used."
Hello,
I need some help, as my trampa vesc 6 plus (HW60, FW5.1) is currently unable to deliver power.
My setup: ebike, 12s4p liion battery, 530kV Assault 700 motor. Freewheel, motor brake is off.
VESC setup: FOC drive, ADC throttle current input. Max motor amp 110A set, OC limit at 140A. Mosfet temp limit start lowered to 60C, ends at 85C to counter the higher allowed currents. Trampa silicone cover for increased water safety.
Hi,
What is UART_TX_DISABLED pin meant for on bluetooth module ?
Regarding to nrf52_vesc repo, this HW pin is different according to the module used.
What is the purpose, and should we just declare d free pin and that's all ?
In what case should we issue a COMM_EXT_NRF_SET_ENABLED command ?
Thanks a lot !

Hello everyone !
I’m currently working on retrieving the energy from a low speed high KV generator. I’ve bought a Vesc 75/300 for that but I’m having troubles getting it going. Here are the specs:
Here’s what I’ve done at first:
The 75/300 R3 habe an buildin PIN for switching the VESC on/off.
I like that feature, so i kick out my Antispark switch and have only a FUSE.
But i like to use mit waterproofe switch with buildin LED for the powerstatus.
How i can light on the LED from the switch when i powered my VESC?
