VESC Tool

Hey,

I'm having trouble connecting VESC tool (PC) to my VESC Express by wifi or bluetooth. All the firmware is up to date and I'm using the latest VESC tool. I can see the VESC Express connected to my home wifi network, and available in bluetooth, but neither are detected by VESC tool even when I try the various scan options. Is there anything else I need to do to get it to connect?

I've successfully worked through quite a few other challenges on my VESC journey but this one has me stumped!

First time here and I'll keep it short as I can as it must be an easy fix or a bug.

I am trying to run an evolve GTR  skateboard motor (x2) with 6.05. 1500w Outrunner R=69m, L=67uH,  Ld-Ld=25uH

The motor detects no problem using the Auto-detection wizard and spins up O.K., but one of my motors has bad Hall sensors.So I was hoping to use one of the HFI modes.

Running mobile Android VESC Tool.

The "Consump" RT gauge displaying WH/Mi shows instant and average.

The Instant range always maxes at 60, but my average is in the 300-400 range.

How can I edit the instant range on this gauge to show higher numbers past 60? Or is there a setting/configuration I can change to do this?

Vesc Tool 6.06 test version 2 error is could not read motor configuration file, in time of detection of motor in wizard setup. Vesc Tool 6.05 reading just fine.

I've had my Trampa 100/250 for about 2 months and it suddenly started giving me "Serial port error:  The I/O operation has been aborted because of either a thread exit or and application request."  This happens every few seconds, with the VESC tool disconnecting.  I reconnect, and it disconnects a few seconds later.  Same thing on 2 different PC's, one Windows 10 and the other Windows 11.

Any ideas?

I'm trying to connect this magnetic encoder to use for FOC mode. My understanding is it's like the TS5700N8501 encoder, also with an output of RS-485. I believe their protocol is similar to the TS5700N8501, but I can't even find any documentation or tutorials on how to use even just the TS5700N8501. Hello everyone, and a wonderful and happy VESC year! ;)

I’m using the version of VESC Tool I downloaded from the Apple Store, and I’m currently setting up my first board. Do you know if the iOS version is as stable as the Android version ? I’d like to know if it’s possible to use VESC Tool on my phone (iPhone) to configure my board and ride..., but is it also possible to use my Linux setup and the application to work on the same board without causing issues with my VESC configuration ?

I might be reading the lispBM README incorrectly but I was expecting gpio-hold to work.  Everything else like gpio-read and gpio-write works.
