I am trying to program a Flipsky ESC 6.6 Dual on Windows. I'm running Windows 10. However, whenever i try to auto connect the ESC, its saying that there is no ESC connected. Its connected to a 10s3p 36v battery and pluged into my laptop using the cables that came with the ESC. Any ideas?

I recently bought a HD60 VESC from Trampa to use in a robotics project.
I need to drive a tiny inrunner motor (preferably in FOC mode as I want it to be as silent as possible) at speeds of ~40.000 rpm.
Motor detection seems to work via the wizard but as soon as I want to use it via the rpm or duty cycle commands I can not get it to turn reliably from standstill to full speed.
There is a band of rpms where it seems to work fine but above and below I only get weird back and forth vibrations.

I use VESC in FOC modus. Why power can be limited? My motor can up to 70App. I have power supply 4S - 16V, battery can to current 25A. I was able to get up to 300W of power. 22A.
second try. I have 7S(30V) batteries. I expected to be able to to 22A and get more power. But the motor only accelerates to 300W.

Earlier I used FOC TI C2000. There was no such thing. :(

Hi.
I got the RC car up and running, but unlike a normal RC ESC, when I let off the throttle the motor actively decelerates to match the throttle position.
Is there a way to stop that, so it behaves like a RC ESC?

I have no idea whats causing it, or how to stop it.

dont ask why, Iam testing some stuff. My question:

technically is there a limit of faults the vesc is able to log, isnt that limited by the RAM of the stm32? no clue how much one fault takes.

Is there something like a wipe/clear when this is reached?

I am making an Electric wheelchair (Differential drive) using an 8 Inch Hub BLDC motor. I need good smooth low-speed performance, therefore I wanted to use the hall sensors of the motor. the vesc i use has 6 pins for hall sensor. can someone help me on how to connect the wires? (if it's even possible).

Also. what is the best setting to choose from, if I want forward and revere in this case? smart reverse, current, duty cycle?

I did some searching but can't find any mention on if the VESC is only unidirectional (only forward movement), or if it allows for bidirectional control.

If anyone could let me know, it would be much appreciated!

I am using the Vesc6 MKIV on a DIY Onewheel build with a Hubmotor called PHUB188. Sadly I cant enjoy the build cause the Vesc or motor is acting weird
