Having some issues with the set up of my VESC 6. I have the correct software (as per previous forum conversations) and the controller is working fine achieving full duty cycle but only initiating initial motor rotation from roughly 55% throttle trigger position. The throttle input is being read by the software but not converted to motor movement till 55%.

I have reset all throttle values and been through every setting I can find but nothing changes this. Any help would be amazing as it's driving me mad! 😆.

So after working just fine,  my flipsky 75100 won't let me connect to vesc. So I grabbed my tablet and I was able to connect 1 time. Now I can't connect with either. Message says something like UUID, I can manually set...idk help please.

Hi, I've posted about this in the esk8 forums but I thought this would be the better place. I've built up an electric skateboard using a MakerX DV6s dual vesc6 and using 2x Radium 6455 175kv motors. They work pretty well, but I've had a problem with the vesc cutting out when using smart reverse. If I set my brakes to full brake, then it would slow me down and give me brakes, until a few seconds later it would cut out. The first time it happened it sent me flying, so I started doing tests while sitting down.

The flipsky controllers are giving a lot of problems and I want to change to VESC brand name controllers.  Is there a VESC that can run my 20S voltage that is 80V at full charge?

Hey guys,

I'm quite new to the vesc scene but, I got one of the Markerbase cheap MKS VSESC to test it and I'm getting a weird error:

Serial port error: A device attached to the system is not functioning. Which makes me think the VESC shuts down... Obviosuly I tried to really restrict the power consumption which is way below the Battery BMS and the ESC recommendations.

What's up guys? I have a question before I ride my adv pro, why is it when I write changes to the LED in idle mode nothing happens? I was doing it as a test to see if it's saving settings before I move on to more challenging things but nothing changes. Like knight rider mode, or even a different color, or brightness doesn't work.

Hi everyone! I have a 20x4 inch fat bike with a standard Bafang G062 1000w geared hub motor, and decided to switch my controller to Flipsky 75100 Pro v2 as I wanted to get more power and speed. My old controller had only 23 Amps. Since I'm totally new to this, I got the classical "low torque" problem. Maybe some of you have the same motor, or you can recommend what settings should I tweak?

Im on FOC, and already tried Ortega Original, BEMF Decoupling. No luck. My battery is 52V, 14S4P, 20Ah, 50A BMS

Any help is very much appreciated.

I'm new to the VESC controller and just wondering if someone could provide me with the VESC settings needed to run a 350W hub motor with a 48V 9.9Ah battery (continuous discharge 20A). The ebike has a twist throttle as well and hall sensor. I have the bike running but it is moving very slow. The bike is a jetson bolt pro. Any help would be appreciated.

I have a weird problem, that I cannot find a solution for.

I am driving a 350W/36V Ebike Motor with a VESC 4.10, Fw 5.2 in BLDC-Mode. App: UART + ADC, Duty Cycle Control Mode.

Now, when I input max voltage to ADC1 (100%) and I apply a load to my motor (by using manual brake on my test stand), of course the phase current increases up to around 6-8 amps, but the duty cycle is automatically lowered. The Input to ADC ist still 100%.

After releasing the load, the duty cycle increases very slowly.
