I've got a single 14s6p p42a with two vescs for an awd skateboard
In the motor/advanced section, would the "battery current regen" be 25A (half of 50A) and the "battery current max" be 50A (half of 100A)?
And is that "-25A" and "-50A" or are they positive values.
Are there limits to how many times a VESC can be reprogrammed or how long I need to wait between updating the flash memory?
I have 3 VESCs that I am using for scientific research. 1 of them is working perfectly. However 2 of them no longer retain programming changes.
The two that failed did that at the exact same time when I was making several changes to the programming over a few minutes. The third one is fine.
The two that failed had been reprogrammed around 20 times.
I have a VESC MKV. I am able to use it with the tool, however, when I try and use it for remote control it bricks up. The error code I am receiving is: [vesc/vesc_driver-13] process has died [pid 16843, exit code -6, path to empty log file]. Has anyone dealt with this issue before?

i test adaptor 2 with ubox single 100v 100A
work fine all, but not on adaptor 2 output logic for cruise... (pin TX on ADC dont change state wen open\close contact cruise on adaptor.
wen i close the contact cruise, the adaptor make sound wit buzzer (3 beep wen trottle up and 2 beep wen trottle down... but don work cruise,
i set only ADC and activate cruise on vesc app.
i test wit tester tx pin and never change state (3.3v)
maibe is defective adaptor?

Is it possible to use the VESC in either closed loop RPM or Torque control modes.
A FOC controller should be able to do this.
But i am unclear what to change in the settings
Also how would the setpoint be given ?

I am slowly continuing my inboard dual motor row boat project.
I have upgraded from Flipsky Vesc to two Trampa VESC 6 HP. Ringht now I am controlling the motors using two potentiometers just so i can test in water. It works quite good. There are some intermittent interference or voltage spikes on the 3.3 Volt so the motors spins up sometimes without moving the potentionmeters. However, i can live with that for the moment.
When applying full throttle (no matter if without or with load) the motor cuts off. When going reverse on full throttle it runs as it should. There are no faults in the logs. Is this a bug?

I am new to using VESC Tool. The project I am doing is an electric kart with the flipsky 75200 controller and a 48v and 3000w bldc motor.
I don't know very well what each parameter does and in order not to break anything I just do "detect motors foc".
The first problem I have is that the motor current is very high (400A) if I lower this current the motor accelerates very little and if there are climbs can not move. The battery current is 60A.

It was working fine initially. Yesterday i observed a very strange behavior. Here's a video
I increase throttle and the current suddenly drops and rpm suddenly reduces. I am nowhere near the rated current.
This happens even if i use the hall effect sensor.
Any suggestions to diagnose the problem would be helpful.
