Updated my firmware on my trike ,what do I need to adjust or tweak for my sensorless take offs to be smoother bit lumpy at the moment
i was looking into the vesc 6 schematics when i saw this part not connected to the main mcu or anything, so, what is it for?
Hi there,
Does anyone know of any production VESC controllers that currently offer/feature an isolated CANbus? I am planning to use a bunch of these in a multi battery system and so isolation is key, I haven't been able to find anything myself.
Thanks in advance for any tips.

How to setup my VESC with AD2S1205 and use FOC with A,B,NM signals?
New to Vesc tool. Just had my xenith take dump after a capacitor fell off that lasted about 5 years. Brand new stromcore setup with the voyager 2 transmitter, (yes I switched the imput wires) first run about a half a mile frim the house the brakes went out and the ESC wouldn't turn on after. I couldn't get anything out of it into the vesc tool on my phone and then I downloaded the computer app and neither will connect. The company sent me a new stormcore 60d, everything went good setting up until the phone app proceeded a firmware update to adjust furthur settings.
Hey guys! I am having wrong sensor readings. Temperature MOSFET 1 and 2 are oscillating around 200 Celsius degrees, and MOSFET 3 is constant at 25 degrees. The VESC is at rest and is not hot when touching it. I get Temperature MOSFET Error (MOSFET temperature maxiumum is set to 190 Celsius degrees in VESC Tool).
How can I disable in the firmware MOSFET 1 and 2 ? There isn't such an option in VESC Tool so i need to customize firmware, or a change in VESC Tool to add this option?
I am using Maytech 75/300
Thanks a lot !
Florian
Hi,
I am relatively new to vesc and I want to hear expert opinions about the best way to tune current controller.
For your context, I've been using ELMO gold tweeter motor controllers for a while and I just started playing with vesc. My plan is to replace ELMO with VESC for my force controlled robot. I am using this motor (https://store.tmotor.com/product/u7-v2-motor-u-power-kv280.html) with 28V batteries.
Hello,
I am trying to build a four wheeled bicycle, running both back wheels with hub motors and VESC ofc. For regulatory reasons I need to use the PAS sensor, which works. But I can't seem to get both motors running via CAN bus and PAS. I tried it with ADC and that works fine.
Am I doing anything wrong here?
I am running 6.05 on TRAMPA VESC6 75.
Kind Regards
Benno
Hi, I have a simple question (I've searched in the forum but I haven't found similar topics).
I'm developing a simple vesc display like this one https://github.com/SimonRafferty/VESC_ESP32_Display
the display is based on esp32 (and running Vescuart library) to communicate with Vesc.
unfortunately I can't access to the uart or can ports, but just to the usb port.
Hi all, I'm planning to use a 5065 140kv motor to power a custom designed geared (10:1) powered rope ascender and I was wondering if it's possible to setup a vesc like the following.
Basically I want to power the motor for ascent and when release the throttle it stops and holds me where I am on the rope.
