I have a cl700 and I am trying to hook up regen braking. I am using a thumb throttle for my regen and it has 3 wires. The harness off the cl700 says to use the same plug as the throttle. So do I just splice the 2 reds and the 2 black wires together and put the 3rd wire directly into the plug? I just don't want to do this wrong. My last question is the aux power plug. I don't have any voltage across the pins. Do I need to turn on the aux power somewhere?
Yes, you can do it that way.
Aux power is enabled in Motor settings -> General -> Advanced-> Auxiliary Output Mode
