Controller (VESC 6 based) dont like small motor

Hi All,

I have my own version of Vesc6 with same components of Trampa Version, different layout.

It work like a charm with an 8 pole 500W inrunner at 48V , perfect current readings, smooth start etc

I tried to run a 100W  outrunner motor ( https://www.faulhaber.com/en/products/series/3216bxtr/ ) at 24V with orrible results.

The resistence measure are ok and coherent with the datasheet, it correctly measure the Lambda and the motor slowly spin as usual .

Once I try to spin at any dutycycle from vesc tool it dosent spin and current reading start shaking from positive to negative  , sometimes a DRV Fault strike with all possible error flag.

I tried from FW5.2 to FW6 with same results, with FW6 sometimes did not pass the autocalibration.. sometimes pass with correct readings.

I tried changing the Shunt value from 0.5 mOhm to 4 mOhm to increase the current sensibility but with pretty same result.

The motor is in good condition and it spin normally with any Hobby ESC.

Is there some particular parameter to play with to better drive small outrunner like that ?

Thanks for any help !
