Undervoltage Fault

Submitted by gazlinux on Tue, 2022-02-08 02:26

Can someone point me in the right direction to start troubleshooting undervoltage fault code?

I get the motor spinning with remote but intermittent fault codes. Not using a BMS.

Motor:              Brushless  Filipsky 65161 100KV
Input PWM:       Maytech Eskate Remote VESC MTSKR2005WF V2
ESC:                 Firduo HL200 75V 200A ESC
Vesc tool:         version 3.01
Configs:           Ran motor and input wizard (PWM Current no reverse with break), adjusted motor poles to 6, set battery cutoffs for 14s9p lipo

Arduino PPM disable regen

Hi!

I have an arduino that is hooked up to my ESC via PPM input, with the control type set as PID Speed Control / No Reverse.
When the arduino sends the Min/Center PPM pulse, my motor resists motion and does not spin freely.

How do I get the motor to spin freely when the arduino does not sends the 'neutral' pulse length?

app config will revert to default @VESC6MKV

The following hardware and tools are used.

VESC6MKV (FW version:5.3)

VESC Tool Free (version:3.01)

After writing app config to the VESC6MKV using the VESC tool, reboot the VESC6MKV will not retain the written app config and will initialize it.

*If I don't power down the VESC6MKV, it will work with the app config I wrote.

Is there any way to fix this?
