GT2 Remote to Vesc connection issue

Hey guys, i didnt find any FAQ that tells me where or how i should open a Thread about a problem so hopefully im on  the right spot here.

My Setup is

Vesc 4.10

Turnigy Aerodrive SK3 – 6364 – 213kv Brushless Outrunner Motor

2x ZIPPY Compact 5800mAh 10S 25C Lipo-Pack 37v

 

Everything works fine, the Motor spins in the vesc tool over the key arrow, the only Problem is that i wont get an signal of my Reely GT2 Remote or my Nyko Kama Nunchuk to the Vesc

The "detect BLDC parameters" feature works great when I don't have the hall sensors plugged in.

... but then I plug in the hall sensor (6 pin connector at the top of the board) and now the motor won't spin up. It doesn't even twitch.

I tried playing with the duty cycle, the amperage, and the ERPM... but I can't get the motor to move at all while the hall sensors are plugged in. Just says "detection failed" after about 5-10 seconds.

vesc6 limitations

i am running a vesc 6 on a scooter with a 4kw  motor with 12 s lipo .i have have battery and motor amps maxed out and the motor still will not pull more than 3kw.

and i have a problem when i do a full throttle run there is a 3 second gap before the motor starts to slow down,like the vesc is holding on the throttle after i let go of it

and have to jab the regen brake to make it slow sooner .

Valify V2 Robot Lawnmower

Thought to share my project here :) 

3D Printed Nvidia Jetson TX2 based robotic lawnmower running VESC for drive system.

The project has come a good way and I'm starting to post from where the project is today.

All parts for the drive system is completed. 
Some parts will be welded together and then the assembly will begin next week!

The motor with an enkoder of AS5048 rotates unevenly

I use the motor T-Motor MN4014 http://www.helipal.com/t-motor-mn4014-high-power-brushless-motor-400kv.h...

This motor has 24 magnets. I construct the ropeway and it is important to me to have uniform rotation from the minimum turns to maximum.

I use the mode a Duty cycle. The motor rotates not exactly, turns float. My encoder 5048 works well. It is visible on graphics at rotation of the motor a hand.

Duty vs RPM for smooth start and slow running

Hi,

I'm using a sensored 200KV motor for my project, controlling the RPM over UART with the VESC in FOC mode. One of my objectives is to get smooth, jerk free, acceleration.  I'm noticing a little jerk when the motor starts to move, even at the minimal RPM (which for my motor seems to be at 900 RPM). When I use the VESC tool I can avoid that little jerk when I use a very low Duty (0.02), instead of the minimal RPM.
