Hi all,
I'm making my own remote and I've gotten a long way. Sending MOTE_PACKET_BUTTONS and MOTE_PACKET_PAIRING_INFO is working, so I can actually remote the Vesc from my remote.
Now I'm trying to get feedback from the Vesc. I'm trying to get the Vesc to respond to COMM_GET_VALUES command over nRF.
My packet is assembled this way:
Are DRV8302 and DRV8301 fully compatible.
I ask this, because HW4.12 and below have DRV8302 and I think HW6 has a DRV8301 soldered on the board.
When you go >Motor Settings>General>Current you see "DRV8301 OC Mode" and "DRV8301 OC Adjustment", will it work with DRV8302 too?!
Have A Nice Day.
Thierry
Hi - I am struggling with an DRV8302 Under Voltage error. This is my first build and the first days riding around the neighborhood everything worked nice. The single motor has impressive powers - more than my expectations.
so I started VESC tool to configure my new VESC6 but it says the firmware needs to be updated. So I go to the firmware page and it says Hardware Version 60 firmware VESC_default.bin
So I click on VESC_default.bin and click the update firmware button. It writes the data and disconnects.
Power cycle, reconnect and it says, "the connected VESC has too old firmware..."
Below that screen it says, "supported firmwares 3.25, 3.26, but I can't click on either of those, so I really don't know what I'm loading.
hi. my vesc 4.XX seems to power my carvon v3's with more acceleration, and brakes work like theyre supposed to. on my vesc 6, its a lot weaker.. same settings.. one with mini remote, one with gt2b mod....also, with vesc 6, i noticed the brakes cutting in & out... but mainly im worried bout braking (vesc 6) it slows me down but very gradually. i have motor max 80 motor min 80 batt max 30 and batt min 12. 12s5p 30Q cells. with vesc4.XX 12s3p with 30q cells
Hello,
I have not been able to find any information on CANBUS communication. Is there any documentation anywhere? I am looking to communicate through CANBUS due to its robustness over UART. Robustness is extremely important in my application.
Thanks!
Dillon
Hey guys,
Can someone explain the wiring between VESC and AS5047P?
VESC -> AS5047P
MOSI=V+ -> MOSI or 5V ?
SCK -> CLK ?
MISO -> MISO !
CS -> CSN ?
GND? -> GND
Hi Frank and Ben,
It seems that VESCs 6 are now sold by Trampa to non-beta users.
So, what's the plan now for betas ? Is the beta program over ? I'm a bit confused, sorry.
Should we still go for some special requests of testing ?
Or, if the beta is over, could you publish all files and code (as it was the deal at the beginning of this beta program) ?
Thanks to both of you for the great job !
Cheers,
Clément
