I have looked everywhere for information about a standby mode or power switch for the VESC 6. How do I put the VESC 6 into standby mode, or turn it on and off?
That is really the only way? My design is heavily space constrained and I can't have customers plugging batteries in every time they want to turn the thing on. I guess I will see what I can do.
You need an external device to do this.
Either a BMS with built-in switch, or standalone antispark powerswitch (like Vedder's one) or a simple XT90s.

Thanks for the reply!
