VESC Firmware

I'm curious if there's a quick way to inhibit braking with an external pulse.  I'm using a pedal torque sensor to drive ADC1 in current+braking mode on a bike.  If pedaling becomes too easy, braking kicks in.  I want to use the cadence output (which is 36 pulses/rev., currently on ADC2) to inhibit braking so that if there's forward pedal movement, even if torque/current goes to zero there will be no braking.

I'm playing with making a custom application for an e-bike with bottom bracket torque and speed sending. Modifying the ADC app for reading in the torque is straightforward, but I also need to repurpose a pin to use as a digital input with an interrupt to count the pulses coming in from the speed sensor. I'm using the 4.12 hardware. Can anyone give me some advice on that?

I have a relevant degree, but I haven't done much with embedded hardware since then and I've only recently started playing with the STM32Fs.

We use the Servo Out functionality for steering a R/C vehicle. Previously on the Mk3 and Mk4 we enable SERVO_OUT_ENABLE, compile and upload to the VESC6. This would enable the Servo Out functionality.

I have made a custom HW for my e-bike project, based on HW 6.4, with some minor modifications. The PCB has a built-in NRF24L01 IC, with an external 2.4GHz / 2dBi antenna connected.

If I type "hw_status" in the VESC tool terminal in Windows, it returns ​Permanent NRF found: Yes

So it looks like the controller can communicate with the NRF24 module. My problem is that I cannot connect to the VESC with my phone via BLE (the VESC doesn't appear in the list when scanning).

I have seen tutoials and tried to upload newer software via computer and mobile.
What am I doing wrong?

Using some 75300 since beginning of the year, i´m not able to update them to newer FW then the actually ones :

HW 75-300-R3 : FW 4.2
HW 75-300-R2 : FW 3.62

Using actually VESC TOOL 2.06

Having hard times setting up bigger motors,

Inrunner 5000gramm low KV (under 50) and 4000gramm Outrunners with 50kv

The R2 only works in sensored BLDC with the Inrunners (QS Motors 1000W)

With the Outrunner (APS120) the R2 just run in FOC, but having Overcurrent Faults

Unity - VESC 5.1 - Internal Uart

Is there a way to set the BAUD rate or configure the internal uart with VESC 5.1 or another method?  I am trying to use the internal uart for my DAVEGA and I think it maybe the Baud Rate that I need to change.  This is typically used for the Bluetooth module but I have a module currently I'm using with my trampa remote in the Standard Uart Port and no longer need the internal Bluetooth I'm trying to setup for my DAVEGA telemetry. I just purchased a dual Vesc from Trampaboards, a HD60.

Upon updating the FW I get the message, Vesc Tool does not include FW for your HW.

When I attempt to setup the motors in FOC mode, it only rotates one motor and disconnects.

This board is a replacement for my Filpsky dual which was fine but not so reliable.

Any ideas what the problem could be?
