I am trying to custom build the firmware that was taken from ( vedder's bldc ) github, the firmware was building completely okay and i can do hardware debugging, but when i flash the firmware using a stlink programmer onto the vesc 4.12 controller it is not detecting the usb to serial, but when i use the default one ( VESC_Defaut.bin firmware ) that is provided with vesc tool it works fine. the problem is my custom firmware build is not detected by the tool and it is not even shown in the (/dev/tty.*) (i have no idea why). did any one faced this problem or how to fix this?. Can anyone kindly help with this?.
