The current PPM APP allows the user to configure a single channel to control throttle (duty, current, etc.)
CPPM sends all the receiver channels on one signal channel. This is often used in multirotor flight controllers.
Having additional channels could offer the more options with standard receivers utilising the existing PPM input of the VESC.
- Mixing channels for proportional control (speed and steer) across multiple VESC (either over CANBUS or each with their own receiver)
- Dead man switch or arm switch from a separate channel.
- Mode settings from the remote (switch between low/ high power).
- Channel invert from the remote (flip forward/ backwards).
