Hi
VESC 100/250 MKIII
Could you please tell me?
I'm trying to display information about a custom motor control board on a VESC DISPLAY.
Do you have any information about the communication format of the data sent from the motor control board via CAN?
Or could you please tell me what I should look into?
I understand communication with Express.
Thank you in advance.
I am using a VESC flipsky 75100 V2 with an external IMU (mpu9250) and it will work indefinetly until I try to ride the board. It will lose connection with the IMU once there is a substantial current draw on the device. I thought this may have something along the lines of a buck converter issue but the board is not damaged and will reconnect after a power cycle. Could there be a setting that I am missing or is there something in the firmware code I am running. VESC 6.02
Hi,
We are using the VESC 75/300 with TP100 motor for water propulsion.
While using the FOC controller we are unable to achieve more tha 6000 rpm in water even when there is plenty of energy.
The problem is apparently due to noise in the FOC observer.
We want to employ the BLDC controller which is more robust. However, the VESC Tool 6.02 is unable to tune up the controller, and do not allow to entering manual values for the R-L, flux.
We greatly appreciate your help
Hugo
Hello everyone! I am trying to use a VESC 6 EDU to run a power tool for my robot. It is a secateur which has a sensorless brushless motor. What will be the best way to setup a sort of sensorless homing? I need the motor to stop at the hard stop and not break the gearbox. Thanks!!
For a powerful robotic arm project, I am using a MY1020 3kW motor with 6 poles and a Hall effect sensor, along with a 100:1 harmonic reduction and a Flipsky75100 configured in FOC. The entire setup is powered by a 72V, 40A power supply. Everything works fairly well except at low speeds. Below 500 ERPM, the motor has no torque and makes clicking and whistling noises, as if the rotor is not "catching" the rotating field.
I have performed automatic FOC parameter detection and tried changing various parameters, but nothing seems to work.
Hi all!
I'm looking to evaluate the cost for building the VESC 6 EDU version myself (I make a few Drones!). I could find the BOM for some of the older versions here but unable to find one for the VESC 6 EDU version. Can someone please help? For me the cost is a strong factor and it'll be really helpful to calculate that if I had a BOM available!
Has anyone attempted to recreate the VESC 6 EDU? Thanks in advance!
Hello,
I'm new in the world of VESC, I'm currently starting my first project.
I have a e-scooter, it's a Dualtron Thunder 2 and it had burned battery. I got it like it, I cleaned and painted parts I could save, and buy new other parts. Frame and motors are fine.
So I'm making a new battery with 8p20s Samsung 21700 35A 5000mAh, BMS will be able to deliver 230A constant and 525A peak. Battery can do (8x35) 280A, but I'll limit it to 200A first.
The original controllers were 2x60A peak.
