IMU and RC control

Its possible use IMU balance APP and PPM  signal radio controller in the same time? I want realize a self balance robot

i don't see why it can't be done. 9DOF connects via i2c or SPI interface. PPM is going via a separate input. They can run simultaneously.

But will it work on a standard FW, or do i need to write a custom. Can you help me to write it?  Thanks.
