What is the difference between Current in and Current Motor in the Realtime Data window?
Thanks!
Current in: current flow from battery
Current Motor: current flow towards motor.
I don't understand why current motor is always higher than current in .
Hasebe
Example:
At 50% duty cycle and 50V Battery:
Voltage Batt = 50V
Voltage towards motor = 50V * 0,5 (50% duty cycle) =25V
Lets say we push 20A towards the motor:
From Battery: 50V*10A = 500W
To motor: 25V*20A = 500W
Energy from Battery equals energy towards motor =500W
Thanks Frank,
Since the duty cycle is less than 100%, voltage at battery should be always higher than voltage at motor.
However, don't we also have to take into account the energy loss consumed by the drive circuit?
