A50S

I got a bit bored during the lockdown and ended up designing a tiny VESC.

Will be doing two versions, 2-6S and 2-12S (the 12S version will be a bit more expensive as the fets are much more expensive)

These are the specs for the 6S version:

  • Dimensions: 34.2 x 17.9 x 5.5mm without wires
  • Weight (with wires): ~19g
  • Programmable with VESC tool using a normal microUSB cable
  • Voltage: 2-6S (4v - 27v)
  • 5v BEC up to 400mA
  • Brushless or Brushed motors
  • 23A cont, no airflow
  • 35A cont, light airflow
  • 50A burst
  • 3 phase shunts for HFI

Here it is next to some other parts for a size comparison. The ESC above it is a BLHeli_32 board.

HFI lets you do cool things like this!

Here is a playlist of tests so far:

This is amazing! Is it VESC4 based or VESC6 based? (I dont really know much about electronics)

Did you have the Firmware somewhere on Git?
It's not in the VESC release folder.

Or....which Config did u use?
