Command Line Options

I want to use the VESC Tool to control a test motor on my dyno, e.g. to set up different rpm's in a sequence. This should be done automatically by calling the VESC Tool from another program. Are there any command line options available or does anybody know if I can use the capabilities of VESC Tool not by using the GUI but with some kind of script. Maybe there are other possibilities I don't know?

There is nothing like that available, but I could implement a page with a tcp or udp server that accepts xml commands similar to this:

https://github.com/vedderb/rise_sdvp/blob/master/Linux/RControlStation/n...

I will do some coding this weekend, so if this is useful I could add it.

Would be great ... and maybe a very small example how to use it. Thanks!

I was away all week and busy during the weekend, so not yet. Currently I'm working on implementing BLE support both in VESC Tool and on a nrf51822, but maybe I can make a release in between. I'm hoping to finish the ble support this weekend and publish source code for the nrf51822 for that, but I'm not sure if I will make it. Then I can start working on qml and making an official vesc tool app.

Hi,

I use a Maytech MTESC 6.0 and the android APP or OSX App, My ESC is tottally glued with a BLE (flipsky) module (efoil application). I made a mistake in a configuration and now I have all the time this message  'Could not read firmware version. Make sure that the selected port really belongs to the VESC'

Is there a possible solution with command line to force the update or reset the ESC ? Because it is fully flued I can't access to the USB port - only Bluetooth

Thanks for you answer
