Howdy!
I'm working on a project that uses a VESC to control a propeller on a dive propulsion vehicle. Normal controllers are hard to deploy so I'm using two switches with different resistors to create a low and high throttle setting in ADC mode.
When I start up, I get a quick stutter I'd like to massage out of the system. Video here:
Anyone have suggestions for what's going on and how I can fix it?
Thanks!

FWIW, it seems this only happens in Duty Cycle mode. When I switch it to Current I get smooth starts.
The video shows no stutter per se. A quick reverse move seems to be the way to detect the rotor position in sensorless mode. It's normal.
