I saw this excel file somewhere on the internet. It should have everything you need to control your VESC over CAN. The link on the excel file is also pretty useful. We are able to control our VESCs over CAN with information provided on that file.

Hello,

I did the same I am controlling the VESC with an external STM32H745 Board and CANBUS.

We are sending the set_current and set_current_brake command.

Can commands.. trying not to hijack thread but :)

With the Vesc tool you can set various parameters, Can these also be set with the can bus... if so How ??? :)
