DIY Vesc 75/300 motor not spinning

Hi,

I build a vesc 75/300 by using schematic benjamin has shared. But i got  problem. The pcb can recognized by vesc tool , i can make configurations and vesc tool can recognize motors etc.

Unfortunately, at the end, there is no spinning at the motor. The pcb does not pulls any current but vesc tool says that duty is increasing up to %20 percent and there is not any faults at the terminal.  I will be sharing the picture of the problem.

Anyone has any ideas ?

Thanks

Really need a picture of the board to give any pointers.

The pictures are down below. I could detect the motor with "setup motors foc" side. Thus, i could measure flux linkage etc. but by the time that i measured it, motor was not spinning or making any noise as usual.

Right now, i got drv fault but there is no drv in this pcb, this is vesc6 !!

Sounds like the fets are not actually switching or the outputs are not connected to the motor.

The usb connection is gone when i try to configure the driver. When I try to measure flux linkage and RL , connection is lost for 2 seconds and it comes back afterwards. Any ideas ?

Is the detection process still continuing when the usb is disconnected or does the vesc reset.

If it resets it might be noise on the reset line.

If it continues then you have noise on your usb or a ground loop problem. Use your best usb cable and use a laptop on battery. If that doesn't help then you need to take more of a careful approach to routing your usb traces on the pcb.

Had the same thing on my early prototypes. USB really needs to be away from any power tracks or wiring. I now have three board design: power, DC link + drivers and sensors, and control with all the sensitive stuff as far away as possible from switches and phase wires. Running 400A phase at 100v and USB connection is solid.

USB is actually away from DC bus . DC power tracks are on the bottom side and usb is on the front side .But it is happening only when I use FOC motor setup wizard.

When I use BLDC mode, there is no disconnection. But in sensored mode, motor is spinning kindly but it says bad detection results .

I am really confused.
