I googled a lot about encoder connection to VESC.
I found that VESC 6 does not need modifications when connecting AS5047P encoder via software SPI bus to HALL port. And there is another way of connecting encoder to hardware spi port, but I have to to recompile firmware in this case.
How it works on schematic side that now is possible use HALL port for sensors and SPI without hardware modifications?
I found that AS5047P works over HALL port with Trampa 75/300 board without modifications. Also do not works with Maytech 60 board.
hello sir , did you find anything about this issue , i also connect the encoder but The encoder I have is not standard, .How can I connect it to vesc6? I saw links to vesc4 on the internet, some resistors were being removed.But I'm not sure, the encoder I have has a total of 9 channels. of which 6 channels of axis, 1 axis vcc, 1 axis gnd and 1 axis shield. I don't know how to do this.
