Hallo
I`m using the Trampa Vesc 6 plus together with an 1500watt E-bike hub motor, with the newest FW.
https://www.leafbike.com/products/e-bike-hub-motor/gearless-20-24-26-700c-28-29-inch/20-inch-48v-1500w-front-hub-motor-wheel-1077.html
Throttle on ADC 1 input, working perfectly fine
Braking thump throttle on ADC 2. Looks right in vesc-tool... going perfectly fine between 0-100 % when i look in the live real time data window. My max motor regen. is -80A same for my max battery regen. -80A, but the motor is barely braking at all. I think that 80A is a pretty high number, so i do not want to go any higher. Something must be wrong ??
I have chosen "Current mode no reverse, ADC 2 braking.
Oh and Btw. any tips and tricks to give me some more torque in the bottom end ?? All my values is pretty much default, except motor max and battery max.
Thanks
Could someone change the forum settings so it won't open links in the same tab?..
Had a whole writeup here and then I thought that I would check your link to the motor..
Anyway, I've used that setup and it works well so there should be some setting you have missed. I'm at work now and can't check.
And I would keep battery regen to max 2c but maybe you have a big pack?
Thanks for getting back to me.
No... Just 2 x 8000mah turnigy graphene 6s in series. Yes its a high number, but i have little to none braking power....
Could it be the numbers to high ? Should i try with like -16a batt regen. ?
I used -10A (10s 10Ah) and that gave me a comfortable braking level on a hubmotor @20" I can check my settings later today
Maybe to high number, give a negative effect ? I try with 2x c in batt. Max regen, and report back.
This is my new "braking" settings... still very very poor brakes
Did you check your settings ?
I have the same issue with mid-drive motor kit tat I used to assemble my ebike.
The kit uses bafang motor and I used this guide to assemble it https://voltariders.com/bafang-electric-bike-conversion-kit-there-was-a-...
