I have had a little problem with foc motor detection. When I measured the flux linkage the motor had trouble with spinning, because VESC use parameters that are good enough for a lot of motors but not all.
Wouldn't it be awesome if we could give some parameters such as KV, motor poles and so on to have a more smooth flux linkage detection? And it's not that hard to implement.

Motor detection should now work on almost any motor first time with no playing around with settings.
