Dual VESC and One Motor Stops Spinning

I have a dual VESC with two motors. I am using the default parameters for a medium size motor for an electric mountainboard application. When accelerating, one of the motors spins continuously, while one of the motors stops temporarily. At the same time that the motor stops, the Duty % drops to 0% temporarily. What could be causing this behavior?

No faults in the log file. The VESCs are connected via CAN bus.

what apps do you have enabled on the canbus controller because they may interfere with it you only need adc  on the primary controller

if thats not the case try moving the adc to the other controller and see if it produces different results
