PPM Signal not recognized

Hello Community,

I am really confused with my controller ( 4.10 dual ).

Setting up the motors is ok, setting the input to PPM - no response.

i

...... several attempts without any effect.

Connections as the wiring plan and I also see the signal from the sender on the wire between receiver and Controller.

The VESC-Tool does not show any when moving the sticks but the Osci shows correct.

PPMApp is active.

Help is seriously wanted....

Norbert

ok figred a way

1.update firmware over can on primary bus 1 make sure both sides Vesc  lights are flashing

and it updates both when done wait 12seconds switch off wait 12 seconds switch on reconnect

2.follow motor setup when done adjust motor and battery amps accrding wrti ti motors only

disconnect unplugged usb and plug into B or secondary port this is side where the ppm channel is connected to

3.now on seconday run input wizard select firsts channel or vesc or (b seconday wich now b now sees as primary main channel .select  ppm or first picture

3 ull see remote with be active(considering remote and receiver is paired if not sometime ok ) not set max an minapply do this 3 times then next set ramps done all good to go

if you need to do remote settings only do this on this plugged in channel and only write to program do not write to motors o any other adjustment on this channel not across can not vias versa

meaning on A port only write motors and b port only remote programming

if do ..and kicks out you have to run the whole sequence again

hope it works for you

enjoy

hope you come right

Hello,

my controller is:

1.update firmware over can on primary bus 1 make sure both sides Vesc  lights are flashing

and it updates both when done wait 12seconds switch off wait 12 seconds switch on reconnect    - Done

2.follow motor setup when done adjust motor and battery amps accrding wrti ti motors only   - Done

disconnect unplugged usb and plug into B or secondary port this is side where the ppm channel is connected to ???

There is only a centered connector for both channels. Connection internal by can-bus.

3.now on seconday run input wizard select firsts channel or vesc or (b seconday wich now b now sees as primary main channel .select  ppm or first picture  - I can only select the connected channel...

meaning on A port only write motors and b port only remote programming  - this sounds strange.........

But - still no success

I did some more attemptions....

The wizzard always recognizes the wrong timing.

between ~ 0 and ten ms is wrong due the specs of PPM signalling and the real values outpt from the receiver.

My fear is to have a defect controller and kicking several hundred € into garbage.......

Update:
I got the hint to use VESC Tool 3.00

Installing 3.00  Done

Next is flashing firmware . - Done

Configuring motors  - Done ( no receiver connected due possible distortion in signals )

starting the wizzard for remote

Choosing ppm

Screen show the  default timing ( ok )

Plug in the receiver, switch on sender - checking signal on oscilloscpe ( ok )

Timing detection show some values between 0 an 10ms measured, which are wrong values. reset to default and re-detect the same........

I assume the ppm part is not usable. - garbage

I tried to contact Flipsky.

There was a short try to help. When telling the supporter that all advices show no success - deep silence.

One more question to Flipsky for help: still no answer.

Thats not what making me happier. Also no discussion about warranty or anything else.
